Key Responsibilities:
- Help design and implement functional requirements
- Build efficient back-end stack in Java Springboot
- Integrate front-end components into applications
- Manage testing, unit test case automation and bug fixes
- Prepare technical documentation
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
- Coach junior team members
- Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
Goals:
- Deliver the feature on time and ensure production rollout
- Swift resolution to the production issues within SLA timeline
- Build a sclable architecture and integrate the software in CI/CD with unit test cases
- Upkeep with the latest technology and incorporate the same the delivery
Day-to-day activities:
- Designing and building new features in Java Springboot
- Collaborating with the design team to define app features
- Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications
- Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks
- Fixing application bugs before the final release.
- Publishing the new app, fixes and updates to production server
- Maintaining the code and optimization of the application
- Designing and implementing application updates
Skills and Qualification
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline from reputed university
- Demonstrated the duties by developing a product in which design was a strategic differentiator and added lasting value to the company
- Ability to delve into a design problem to any depth and explain the interplay between
- At least 5+ years of experience in product software development
- Java 8 or higher (Collections, OOPS, Lambda, Multi-threading, Exception handling)
- Spring Boot (Spring MVC, Spring Data, JSON, Hibernate, REST), Caching Strategies
- Relational DB, Oracle including SQL Queries Optimization
- Junit, Maven, Git (Branching and basic commands), JENKINS
- REST Concepts (POST/GET/DELETE etc
- Write well-designed, testable code
- Deep understanding of the HTTP protocol, web application performance and scalability
- Good knowledge of Deployment on different platforms like AWS, Azure and so on
- Understanding of Microservices architecture, dockers / Kuberneties
- Excellent knowledge of API communication, swagger documentation, models/interfaces, API logging, Exception handling, Middlewares/Interceptors
- Deployment via CI/CD, unit testing automation, static analsysis
- Understanding of the Design Patterns, Architectural Blueprints, UML and Application Design
